Are You
Overwhelmed?
Are You Looking
For A Change?
Think of your mental health as riding on an airplane. The safety rule is to put your own oxygen mask on before helping others. This is how women need to approach their mental health.
We neglect our own needs because we are juggling too much. It is no wonder we feel sad, sometimes resentful, and most certainly overwhelmed.
I work with women in various life stages and different pivotal points in their lives. No matter the life scenario – from new motherhood to divorce, career change and even death of a loved one – I help patients navigate trying times by recognizing and validating their feelings.
It’s common to hear women say, “it could be worse. I don’t want to complain; others have it much worse than I do.” This line of thinking minimizes our own feelings. At the end of the day, it's not about other people. It's about you. How you feel, react and live your life is important. You matter and so do your feelings. Together we can work through what's bothering you and find a solution to help you feel more at peace in your own life.
